I started my first teaching job in 1996 at Saipan International School located in the beautiful Northern Mariana Islands. Since then, I have taught in Japan, Indonesia, Venezuela, Colombia and Taiwan. Most of my experience has been with upper elementary and grade 6 middle school students. I have experience working in MYP and PYP classrooms, but most importantly, I know how to engage all students in meaningful, exciting lessons which foster learning and growth for every student at their level. I focus on making the classroom less of class and more of a community where we celebrate diversity and explore different perspectives - a place where we can support one another and learn from each other.
